The objective of the project was to amplify youth voices on both local and national issues, to strengthen connections between young people and the wider local community.
The project provided new creative opportunities for young people to express themselves and the young people involved have had the opportunity to take part in a mix of creative activities. These have included music, podcasting, graffiti art, filming and song writing.
The most successful and rewarding aspects of the project are that these young people have been using the training they received, and their new skill sets to produce original music, stories and conversations through starting the podcast series. Seeing the final project visuals and the feedback from partners and the wider community has been amazing.
