Youth Club Summer Fun @ The Gap

The Gap Community Centre Youth Club were successful in their application to Warwickshire Crimebeat for funding for its Summer Fun project.

The youth club is accessed by around 100 young people and applied for funding to help resource a variety of activities planned throughout the school summer holidays.

Activities included:

• Indoor and outdoor cooking
• Fruit picking
• Sports and games, which included a trip to play Frisbee Golf

The project benefited 40 local young people from the youth club, with ages ranging from 7 to 16 years old. Many of these young people live in disadvantaged conditions; such as broken families, parents with addiction issues, families who depend on benefits etc.
