The Magistrates Association Mock Trials

The Magistrates Association of Coventry and Warwickshire applied for a grant, with David Kelham (High Sheriff – 2022/23) as Warwickshire Crimebeat’s application sponsor, to support their work (presenter's materials and costumes) in conducting “mock” trials to pupils at Woodloes School.

This was part of a training programme led by Paul Heathfield JP, Treasurer and Training Officer and between February and July, some 48 workshops in 30 schools were completed.

For September to December 2023, 19 workshops have been booked in 10 schools.
