Recognition & Respect 2 Day Programme

Cohort 4 adapted their Recognition & Respect Programme to deliver it over 2 days to a group of young asylum seeking girls in Warwick.

Beverley, Founding Director, Operations & Risk Manager at Cophort 4 explains, “These girls are so vulnerable to others who may involve them or use them in crime or harmful behaviours so the Asylum and Leaving Care Team were very pleased with the content of the programme in seeking to inform and empower these girls to recognise their rights and to understand coercion and how others might take advantage.  There was also content about FGM and women’s rights.  We had rewritten our Recognition & Respect programme to suit a full 2 day delivery rather than in 6 small sessions. We received great feedback from the girls and from the staff.”
