Boxing Showcase Day June 2024

Cleary's Boxing Academy hosted a showcase day on 30th June 2024. The event was attended by The Lord Lieutenant of Warwickshire, Mr Timothy Cox, Warwickshire’s Deputy Police and Crime Commissioner, Emma Daniell, Emma Dixon (responsible for the PCC grants and the specific grant that supported our boxing initiative), the Mayor of Whitnash as well as the Leader of Warwick District Council; in addition, Lewis Williams (Commonwealth 2022 Gold Medallist) took to the presentation stage.

Thirteen awards were presented to young boxers, the oldest of whom was 15, along with three Volunteer Certificate Awards. Each junior prize winner was excited to receive a £25 voucher to spend with BOXRAW, who were kind enough to sponsor the event.

The event was host to an excellent turnout of attendees, after the presentation of the awards, The Lord Lieutenant toured the Whitnas Picnic in the Park Fun Day.
